Weekly Prayer Points,
28 June 2010. G'Day from Steve
Refuge and Trust
The verse at the very centre of the Bible is Psalm 118:8 " It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put your trust in man".
More and more I know that nothing else matters.. only the life I live and the stuff I do in Jesus Name. We can spend our entire lives working like slaves for a corrupt system, indebted to a greedy manipulative society that exploits the poor and oppresses people. The law condemns but God's grace sets us free. Governments strive to imprison us but Jesus sets the captive free. When we put our trust in the systems of man we will be destroyed by them.... But when we take refuge in the Lord we will always be safe.
In Australia this past week the leadership of our nation changed hands in the ugliest and most malicious, deceptive way I have ever seen. In one night the man who the nation had elected as leader was gone in a callous, soul destroying move.. by his own friends. It reminded me of the dangers of trusting in man and not in the Lord. Even though I was not a big supporter of the Prime Minister's policies I was ashamed to be an Australian if that is how we dishonour our leaders. But... I am even more compelled that I desperately need the Lordship of Jesus over my life and not be held prisoner to the godless ways of man. Life is so unpredictable and at times cruel, which is why we need a faith in Christ to carry us through.
There's a sandwich board out the front of the old newspaper store in Port Fairy, Victoria that reads....
"May your life be full of enough joy to keep you smiling... enough struggles to keep you strong and enough sorrow to keep you human".
I know that unless God is building the house.. we are labouring in vain. Even with all the challenges of life you may have at the moment... take refuge in knowing Jesus, let Him be the life source that empowers you and revives you. Not Governments...Not religion.. not meetings... not worship songs.... Just Jesus. Take refuge in Him.
Thanks for your prayers and support. We love and appreciate your friendship.
Godspeed

Pictured: Taken from the website
Richard Attieh, a TV production manager with Pineapple Media in Sydney has a big vision for the Heritage National Tour. He is a Christian producer who works mainly in the mainstream media industry and sees a great need for quality Christian based programs that connect with people who would never go to church. Please check out the following website and get an understanding of Richard's dream for the Heritage National Tour and the potential it has for television.
We want to thank Richard for his enthusiasm and professional approach to this venture. More details to follow.

New CD Projects - Jordan and Trentan
Pictured: Trentan and Jordan performing recently
The guys have been working hard to complete their new songs and instrumentals for 2 very unique projects. With some great production help from Craig Ross, Jordan's new EP, 'Shine', has been mastered and is ready for artwork and manufacture. The guys have also been working on an amazing instrumental project featuring some radical acoustic guitar work.
We are so proud of the guys who have been determined to complete both albums before August. They are trusting the Lord all the way. Thanks for praying with them for music that has God's anointing to draw people to find Christ.
Support for Digby and his family
Pictured: Steve, Digby and Kerrie on his recent visit from PNG.
We want to thank some precious friends of the ministry who have committed to assist with the support of Digby's family in Port Moresby while he is serving the Heritage National Tour.
This is an amazing and encouraging blessing from the Lord and a wonderful expression of love in action. We are constantly amazed at God's intervention in our dreams and plans. He is faithful.
The Heritage Tour team rig

The Wycliffe Bible Translators bus we are using for the tour comes complete with a purpose built trailer featuring a camp kitchen and storage area.
This unit will be such a great help to the main team traveling with us. Once again... we thank the Lord for this practical provision.
The Road ahead for the Heritage Tour
Thanks so much for taking a genuine interest in the vision we have to reach Australian's for Christ and encourage churches in remote regions. We are making some serious decisions at the moment as to the best way to accomplish the task ahead. The team, the vehicles, accommodation, budget expenses, fuel costs etc. To be honest we know we have taken on a huge challenge that is impossible to do in our own strength. More than ever... your prayers and support are a vital component in the success of this 4 month mission. We expect to reach over 50,000 people with the Gospel and excite thousands to opportunities to serve in mission via the Missions Expo. We are looking to the Lord to provide every step of the way and our hope is in Him. In this final month of preparation we welcome your prayers and financial partnership.
Yes!! We are believing for miracles every mile of the journey!!! Thanks.
Little visitors and a busy home...
Pictured: Mikayla Roberts, Kerrie and Jessica Roberts
This past week has been extremely busy at the Grace home. After driving 24 hours back from Melbourne and taking responsibility for our 2 youngest niece's for a few weeks, the house has been full of activity.
Then Kerrie became sick with fever and has been suffering extreme lower back pain. So our office work has piled up. We apologise for any delays in communication. We cherish your prayers at the moment as there is much to do to keep things on schedule. Thanks.
Papua New Guinea Trip
Pictured: A familiar scene in PNG. Crowds hungry to hear the Gospel.
Steve and Ian Bail will be flying to Port Moresby and on to Mt Hagen this week to begin serving with an enthusiastic team of locals excited about putting the vision of Mobile Music, Media and Ministry schools into action.
The threat of HIV AIDS demands for some creative approaches to educating the youth of the nation with Bible Based teaching on issues like diabetes, HIV etc. As you know music is a magnet!! So Steve and a small team will be working alongside the Band P2UIF as they develop a program that we believe could be multiplied and used across the world in developing nations.
Please pray for Steve and Ian as they will be working hard teaching, encouraging and evangelising over these coming weeks. The needs in PNG are great and we believe God has called us to be part of the answer in this amazing nation. Steve will be teaching on songwriting and message writing. Ian will be teaching on photography and music.
We believe the development of this program will be a strategic part of the future for World Missions International. Pray with us for God's favour and the favour of governments in this work.

Heritage Tour 2010
Official Website: www.theheritagetour.com
Can you pray with us as we continue planning this tour, that later in the year, will be traveling to every State in Australia. We have been encouraged to pursue this venture through last years concerts in the country towns. The Heritage Hymns CD seems to be establishing a wonderful foundation on which to grow this vision. Many church leaders are responding to the vision of "honouring the past to inspire the future". What an honour to see and hear God being praised through these hymns once again.
Three simple ways you can be involved:
- Pray - Stand with us in prayer weekly as we seek to serve Christ and proclaim the Gospel.
- Give - There will be many financial needs small and large as we develop the tour and team.
- Go - Pray about being involved and serving on the tour for some of the schedule. More details on this soon.
We are still finalising sponsorships with various organizations so appreciate your prayers on this as well.
Testimonies
We are constantly encouraged by some amazing letters in the mail from people who have been blessed by the ministry. As many of you pray regularly for our work we wanted you to also partner in the blessing of these letters. Thank you to each of you who take the time to communicate with us about what God is doing in your life. We really are encouraged by your words.
